Grateful Heart

Lezlye Lauterbach

Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog! Oh my gosh I did it again a card with a heart on it.
I love simple cards to convey a powerful message. I created a rainbow background using a sponge blending technique and then adding versamark and a glittered embossing powder.

Then the top panel with the the die cut is mounted with foam dots to raise the panel for a dimension effect. I also stamped and mounted my sentiment.
Have a fabulous day.

Luck of the Irish! for Lori Whitlock

Feeling Lucky! I had so much fun creating the Love banner last week, I just had to whip up this one for March! I used two files from Lori's shop. The Lucky Banner and the St. Pat's Day Icon's. The Various green cardstock are Echo Park Happiness is Homemade and Celebrate Easter.

I used my embossing folders again and ink to add texture to the clovers. Always add stickles, glossy accents, flowers and ribbon. I Love the gold glittery cardstock I found in my stash.

I like to re-enforce my pennant holes with eyelets, I choose Tulle to string my banner and added a bow in between each pennant. After assembling this one I wished I would have stenciled the white pieces with some light ink, also patterned paper would be nice here too!

Hope you enjoyed my little luck of the Irish! I am all ready hanging it on my mantle!

Here are the links to the file and products I used.

Welcome to the Poppy Blog! Happy Valentine's Day!

I used the heart channel Die with the red foil cardstock, I wanted a masculine feel to the card and it needed to be kept simple. The love is cut from the scribble love heart in a shiny silver paper, along with adding the single heart to the channel.

My last Valentine's Card for this year! Have a great day!

Textured Valentine Lori Whitlock

Textured Valentine by Lezlye

Welcome the Lori Whitlock Blog. Today I wanted to share a simple masculine Valentine with you. I enjoy taking basic shapes and adding texture to them. I used Lori’s awesome Heart Cluster.
I wanted just a blog card with the red and black. Adding the music and script texture to the heart and background. I used embossing folders to do this. I shrunk down the Happy Valentine’s Day sized for a card, this is a great way to stretch your titles into sentiments. Super easy to resize using cricut design space.
Valentine’s Day is next week.. How did that happen? Check out Lori’s Store for ready made files for cards, boxes, treat holders and a whole lot more! Have a fabulous Day!

12 Hearts are better than ONE! Poppystamps

12 Hearts of Love
I know more Valentine's, Anniversary or just because .... :) I can't help it.
12 heartslovepoppy
I used the hearts that were die cut from the inlay heart and heart channel die. the large love is a die from Open Studio a division of Memory Box and Poppystamps called all about love.

I also used the New impression plate on white cardstock and then cut it down to the size mat I needed for my 12 hearts. This is a great way to use your cuts. Just simple store your cuts with your dies and use them negatives and positive parts of the dies.

Have a fabulous day! Su is out here in CA so I am a happy girl!
