Beautiful Day Popppystamps Stamp release

Welcome to the Poppystamps Mini Blog Blitz for a new stamps! I chose the Ornamental Butterflies Set and created this beautiful geometric card.
I used a technique called second generation stamping on the butterflies to give the effect of different shades of the same color. Then stamped the scrolls in the darker color. The red butterflie was stamped using a rock n roll technique.
The sentiment beautiful day was stamped. Then Glossy accents, wink of stella, trails and bling were added.

Welcome to the Poppystamps blog! Today is my Mother's 78th Birthday! SO I made her this card using Poppystamps Dies and a memory box stencil.
It's so much fun to use a stencil and white ink on a dark cardstock, very eye popping and creating your own back ground! I layered blue and whit sentiments for a shadowed effect.
All the balloons were cut out and layered with foam tape for dimension with foam squares. Strings were glued behind each balloon. A different idea would be to tie the strings on each balloon end. I  trimmed the tops of the balloons that were hanging over the card edge.
Have a great Day!

Letter to My Marine Recruit Poppystamps

Wellcome to the Poppystamps blog, today I am sharing a card I made to send off to my son who is in Phase 3 of Marine boot Camp in San Diego California.
I wanted it to look like what the dress uniform looks like. I cut strips of blue and red cardstock and adhered to the panel cut out with the Letters die.

Cut off and excess and mount to card base. I used two layers of the Letters Die in hopes of making it a bit more dimensional. I then red embossed the Poppystamps sentiment at the bottom. Basic masculine card.

A Latte Cards

I am not sure If I shared these two cards here or not? I have had lots of family stuff going on and my routine has been all jumbled up. I used the Stamps and dynamics from MFTSTAMPS.COM
These deigns are from Laina Lamb. I  used distress inks and glossy accents to create the coffee like filling. Also, liquid  appliqué to make the whip cream. The corrugated paper is Bo Bunny. I need more of it!

It's a bit gloomy here in Northern California, we might get some more rain.
Have a great day!

Hang in there-Poppystamps

Welcome to the Poppy Blog where us designers get the privilege of showcasing the New dies!
Ready for a walk on the wild side?

I merely die cut the vine die from a front panel measuring 4 x 5.25. I added an embossed cloud pattern with an embossing folder and water-colored around the clouds.
I then die cut my three monkeys from two different browns assembled and hung from vines. The third on is not glued so she swings freely.
The sentiment is from a poppystamps stamp set. I hope you are enjoying all the fabulous projects by the design team. Now leave a comment here to be entered to win a monkey die!
Have a beautiful day!
