Poppystamps CardMaker Magazine Hop

Welcome to the Poppystamps and Card Maker Magazine Hop

If you're hopping along you should have reached me from  Patty's blog. If you'd like to start from the beginning you can find a list of all the designers here
For my card I used the Madison Window die, I cut two and mounted them together with acetate as the window. The cloud die and blue paper are placed carefully behind the window. The flowers are cut out of green and desired colors to match patterned paper.
I created a look of wainscoting using my scoreboard and and additional piece of white cardstock.

Poppy Stamps will be hosting a giveaway of a die set to one winner on their blog (  Prizes shown below 1084 Leaf Silhouette, and 1031 Thank You Background dies.    Be sure to leave comments on ALL of the stops along the hop in order to better your chances of winning! Candy is hidden.  You have one week (until 9-26) to leave a comment.  Winner will be posted on the Poppy blog on 9-29.

Watercolored Butterflies for Poppystamps

Poppystamps thanks

Welcome to Poppystamps Blog, Lezlye Here with a custom water-Colored Background Butterfly Thanks Card. I love water-color and black cardstock and thought that the Butterfly die in black made a bold statement for a Thanks you card. I simply took a small cut piece of water color paper and wet the entire piece with water, Then adding desired colors to achieve the effect. I hope you enjoy my card. I have another one I will show in a different post.

Poppystamps Hello

Welcome to the Poppystamps blog. Lezlye here with my water-colored background card. This die by Poppystamps threw me for a bit of a loop. My initial idea was to layer different colors of cardstock on the die. Then I thought of using just black cardstock and enhancing the embossed portions of the die with black stickles. Then in order to make the design Pop I water-colored a background using reds, yellows and oranges pn watercolor paper, the cutting an oval frame. Added coordinating colors of cardstock and a matching ribbon. The sentiment is the hello from the word bubble die.

Mounted the flower die cut with foam mounting squares for dimension. I hope you enjoy my card today.
