Wishing You a very.. Poppystamps Blog Blitz

Welcome to Poppystamps and Our Mini Blog Blitz! New dies! Yay!
I am showcasing the small fluffy tree for you today. I used some sticky paper and applied some ultra fine glitter to it and then cut out my tree pieces. I love creating scenes with Poppy Dies. I could see making a whole card full of these lovely trees or even just showcasing one by itself with maybe some ornaments or berries on it.

I brought in the Pop of red and added a little sticker to one deers nose.
The snow drifts were cut using glittered felt. which added some deminsion to the card.
Oh  I almost forgot.. Would you like to win the small fluffy tree die? If so, just leave a comment here on this post!

Poppystamps Birthday Crad

Welcome to poppy stamps blog . Today I have a shaker card to share with you. I created my background using a custom stencil with a die from BirchPress Designs.
This die is really fun to use and makes shaker cards easy peasy! Just a bit of fun foam to make room for the sequins.
And here's a close up of the shaker.

Simon Says Stamp Memory Box stamp for Stamptember

Welcome to my blog and my second post for the day! Be sure and take a look back at my earlier post.
I am beyond thrilled to be posting a creation I made for  Simon Says Stamp Stamptember Event! Dave from Memory Box Co, designed and exclusive stamp set for this Annual promotion.

It is available today at

Such and adorable bunny set in time for the holiday's! I chose to watercolor my images and hand cut them out to assemble my scene. I love to pop up elements and give dimension.

Have a Happy Day!

Time to Par-Tee! Lori Whitlock

Welcome Lori Whitlock Fans! Today's inspiration and photo tutorial provided by Lezlye Lauterbach Designs. I am a bit new at this tutorial posting, so bear with me. Today I have cut, embellished and assembled the fabulous pop up box golf cards that Lori has designed.

A few things to point out what works for me, (I toggle back and forth with Cricut and Silhoutte ) I import the SVG file into Cricut Design Space and un-group it. This next step is where you need to  each image with score lines and hit attach so that when you cut those pieces the scores happen on each piece.

I also decided to draw my sentiment instead of cut those tiny little letters. You simply highlight the whole sentiment and attach then change from cut to write as illustrated above. I used a simple uniball pen I had on hand, only because I do not own the pens made by Cricut.

I used watercolors and inks along with stickles and glossy accents for the tires to enhance the card design. Since this could potentially be for a man I didn't want to get too fancy.

Here is my final result.

This card makes me happy and now I want to go play a round of golf! Anyone?

Have a Happy Day!

Polar Christmas-Poppystamps Challenge

Welcome to Poppystamps Blog! Lezlye here today with a card I am in love with!
Polar Christmas
The first thing I did was use a Memory Box Co Stencil with snowflakes and embossing paste. This brought a nice dimension and texture to the card.
Snowflake stencil

Then I wanted to have two bears facing each other so using Versamark ink  and a solid image stamp I stamped on the solid image and then stamped that on paper to give a reverse image of the polar bear. I then embossed them and cut out with the die. For the reverse use a light source and line up the die to cut out the polar bear.

I apologize for the shadows in my progress picture, the late night lighting in my studio was creating them. :(

Happy Birthday Pop Up Box Card-Lori Whitlock

Let's Celebrate! Welcome to Lori's Blog, Lezlye here from Lezlye Lauterbach Designs  today to share the fabulous Birthday Pop Up Box Cards. I chose this one because I have a few friends with birthday's this month including me!

I chose some pretty patterned papers and I embellished with inks, stickles and enamel dots.

This photo here shows how the stars are suspended behind the cake. The card folds to be a size 5.5 x 5.5 card.

I inked the papers and pieces using distress ink because it blends so well. On the package I actually spritzed it with water and removed some of the ink. The Top of the gift as well as the cake were run through my big shot with and embossing folder to add texture to them. Ink and embossing powders were added and heated on the dry embossed pieces.

I used my Cricut Explore to cut all of the pieces except this sentiment. I pulled my cameo out for that so that the letters came out clean. I  love the look of these two fonts together! I hope you enjoyed how I spruced up my card, get some of these Awesome files and try it yourself!
