Hippity Hop...Easter's on it's Way Poppystamps

Good Morning Poppystamps fans! I have  an Easter card for you today.
Final poppy
I did an inlay technique here. I used three colors of cardstock.

Use a post it note to hold the die in place, I ran my background colors with the white to get my positioning of my papers correct.

You will need to save all the tiny pieces to insert back into the letters as shown in the photo below.

You'll notice I used green to match the grass below and blue on top. There are several variations of this technique. It can be tedious but well worth the end result. I created my own grass tufts using fringe scissors and a strip of cardstock. Just tucking the eggs into the grass. A couple hopping bunnies to tie into the theme.

I added Stickles with a paint brush and a little grey copic marker to the clouds. I hope you enjoy my Easter Card.

For Peeps Sake-Lori Whitlock

Happy Spring! Lezlye here today! When I start seeing" Peeps" at the store I know that Spring is here. Now if the weather would cooperate and be as bright and cheery as this card I would be a very happy girl!

I modified Lori's row of peeps, by cutting them apart. I wanted to be able to make several of these cards to send out to some of my crafty friends. I chose to use Lori's  Echo Park collection Celebrate Easter for my papers. I love to layer pretty patterns and solids. So bright and fun! I added some iridescent cording behind my popped up peep and also some iridescent shreds for sparkle.

Hope you enjoy!
That's it for me today!

Happy St. Pat's Day! Lori Whitlock

Happy early St. Pat's Day! These center box card files are so much fun. They make for a nice stand up card on someone's desk or table.

I love the print and cut sentiments that come with the cards!  Here is the process for print and cut using Cricut. First you need to ungroup your images. Then select the whole sentiment piece and click attach.  In addition, click the scissors and change it to print.

When you select cut,  Cricut will prompt you to put your paper in your printer to print.  When printed, place this paper on your mat when prompted to cut.  Print and Cut is a nice feature !  Could you imagine cutting and gluing all those little letters?

These are all the pieces of the card cut out. I added some inking and Stickles,  then easily put it all together.  If you need more help with the assembly, you can see Lori's Center Box Card Tutorial here.   The papers are from a few different Echo Park collections, designed by Lori.  I've listed them below.

I hope you'll head on over to Lori's Shop and give these a try! They do make you smile and you could make someone else smile by sharing your creation with them.

Have a great Day!

Here are the links to the files and papers I used.

Popystamps Challenge- Go For the Gold

Welcome to the Poppystamps Challenge!  We're so happy you've stopped by and we sure hope you'll join us!  On the first of the month we announce a new Poppystamps Challenge  with a central theme.  The design team will provide samples for inspiration and you can play along through the end of the month for your chance to win.

I went with an Oscars theme with the film strip and gold glitter paper from Michaels.
The celebrate sentiment was cut twice, once in white and then red. I added glossy accents to make it shine. This would make a perfect Oscar Party invite too!

Want to play?
The rules are simple - just create a project following the theme, use at least one Poppystamps image or die, and link it up here.  The design we love best will receive our winner badge to proudly display on their blog, and one lucky random winner will receive a prize.  You don't have to have a blog to play.  You can link to any on line gallery.   In fairness to other players, we reserve the right to remove entries that do not use at least one Poppystamps image.   We ask that you link a maximum of  3 entries to each challenge.   You are welcome to link your design to other challenges.  Grab our badge to post on your blog post or side bar!

Grateful Heart

Lezlye Lauterbach

Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog! Oh my gosh I did it again a card with a heart on it.
Poppyheartrainbow
I love simple cards to convey a powerful message. I created a rainbow background using a sponge blending technique and then adding versamark and a glittered embossing powder.

Then the top panel with the the die cut is mounted with foam dots to raise the panel for a dimension effect. I also stamped and mounted my sentiment.
Flatgrateful
Have a fabulous day.
