Hand Sanitizer Gift Holder-Lori Whitlock

Welcome to Lori Whitlock's blog! I don't know about you but it's already December! I managed to get all my cards out yesterday.

But now to start making little gifts to give to friends as a parting gift for holiday gatherings. The little hand sanitizer holders are perfect!

I used the I love Winter Paper designed by Lori for Echo Park.

He's Coming to Town...

Welcome to Poppystamps Blog! Lezlye here today with a Christmas Card. This is one of those idea's that just kept
coming forward with idea's.
Poppynorthpoledeer
I decided to do the card in white and gold and just a few touches of red. I had an open spot at the bottom and decided to add the hand drawn note pole sign. The sleigh was assembled and cut in half. I tucked it behind to make it appear as it was flying off. I hand colored twine with copies to make it look like leather.

I used quite a few dies on this card, but I really like the way it came together. I hope you do too!

Holiday's on the Hill-Poppystamps

Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog.Today I wanted to share a tip for easy cutting of intricate dies. I used the snowflake background for this tutorial.

Poppychristmas
You Will Need:
2 pieces cardstock (one is a shim other desired to be used)
1 Dryer Sheet

Layer Paper for card, Dryer sheet scrap cardstock. Run through desired Die cut machine. I used the Cut n Boss.

Most of the time all the pieces pull out and stick to the dryer sheet, leaving you piece for your design ready to use.

My trees are watercolored, houses cut from colored cardstock yellow behind for lights. I actually used the negative cuts from the the stitched landscape dies, so you basically get two cuts in each die. I added the black strip so the title wouldn't get lost in the snowflake background.

Hope you enjoyed my card and that my little tip helps you with your detailed dies.
Have a great Day!

Lori Whitlock Creative Team Hop

Welcome to my blog and the Creative Team Hop for Lori Whitlock.
You should have arrived here from Anita's blog.

I made so many leaves I was able to make two more cards for the hop today! I used some patterned papers along with ribbons. I hand dyed the seam binding ribbon to go with my card. Lori has several leave files to choose from. It is fun to cut a bunch and color them to the desired colors. Here are the links to the ones I have in my collection.

I colored the leaves with Distress inks by Ranger and the seam binding was colored using my Glimmer Mist sprays  Any spray colorant would work.

Next on the hop is Ashley

Happy Thanksgiving- Lori Whitlock

Welcome Lori Whitlock fans! With our clocks being set back for daylight savings it always makes me think fall and Thanksgiving.

I decided to use some of Lori's leaves files to cut out of watercolor papers and distress them up in beautiful fall colors.

I used Ranger Distress Inks and some background stamps to give the leaves that I cut using watercolor paper. This is great if you don't

want to have to go look for all the different colors to cut.

I thought they would make excellent place-cards too! I used the layered frame cut for my card  and here as well, very quick and easy!

Just another way to stretch your dies by custom coloring them!

Here are the links to the files I used:

Plaid is Rad Challenge- Poppystamps

Plaid is Rad

My 1st card for this challenge uses the gingerbread men die. I did the inlaid die technique for this card. I am so happy to use plaid patterned paper along with a lovely glittery polka dot paper. Adding the star buttons form my stash completed the country looking card.
My second card I decided to go for more glittery trees with just a hint of red. Brought in metallic gold paper for a vintage Christmas feel.

Join us at Poppystamps Blog and add your link using Poppystamps dies and adding plaid! I think there are prizes to be won! So what are you waiting for?

Have a great day!
