Exciting News! It's Official!

I am now a part of the Amazing Lori Whitlock Creative Design Team!

I met Lori for the first time at CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) I have always loved her designs for Echo Park. I thought to myself how I would love to work with her and her designs, at the time I was serving on three teams and I didn't want to overload myself. I continued to follow and use her papers and files. I managed to get this photo with her and my friend Cristi Burton.

So, fast forward three years and I was approached if I'd like to be considered and I was absoultely delighted!I even have a few friends and fellow previous design team mates. Looking forward to new friendships and creating with Lori's designs. Let the adventure begin!

What a Tangled Web we weave..

How fun is this! Oh My, I just love it when a project comes out just like I envisioned. Oh that always happens right? If you could only see all my tossed cards snicker ;)
I used Memory Boxes webbed stencil and white pigment ink(stays wet) to create my background. I then Sprinkled and heated clear embossing powder over it, which gives the glossy look.
I Put Silver Martha Stewert Glitter on the web and glossy accents on the Happy Halloween sentiment. I also glittered and glossed the spiders. The spiders were hung with American Crafts twine in Purple. I wanted to bring some additional color into the card since there was so much black and green.

Pumkin Series
Poppystamps Lezlye Lauterbach

Today I have a series of pumpkin cards using the adorable Pumpkin die. Which YOU can win by commenting on this post! Yay!
Pumpkin series
I used a circle die from Open Studio then the pumpkin die with stitched leaves and tendrils to create this pumpkin card series. I couldn't stop there so I made a few more cuts to show how to use the positive and negative cuts.

I love the traditional Purple, orange and black for these cards.
Popping the stitched leaves and adding stickles makes for fun added dimension to the card.

Beautiful Day-Poppystamps New release blog blitz!

Welcome the Poppy Blog and our Awesome Blog Blitz for the July release. I chose this beautiful tree and Leafy Breeze for my first project.I carefully cut out several colors of leaves and randomly glued them on, a little patience is needed. :)  You could repeat this idea for spring , Easter any other season! What versatility!
Make sure that you comment on my post as Poppystamps is giving away the Leafy Breeze die!
The sentiment is from the stamp set Beautiful Day. I also used the Ribbon die for my sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by!

Patriotic Trees-Poppystamps

A Fourth Of July Themed Card for you today. I was trying to think ahead on this one. I cut three different colors and then placed the pieces in to create my pattern.I used washi tape to hold my little pieces. (this was a bit difficult and tedious, but the result is worth it!) You could easily change it up for any season you wish, just change the paper choices. My sentiment is a sticker I had in my stash.

Welcome Home Marine! Poppystamps

Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog! Lezlye,  here today with another version of a Military Welcome home Card for my son! I leave tomorrow for San Diego to see him graduate! Then he spends 10 glorious days with us before heading back for infantry training. I used Vincent House, Puffy clouds and the blank Banner pieces from happy Birthday Banner flags. I utilized rub on letters from my paper crafting stash.

I used cardstock for each of my layered house pieces. I hand drew the banner strings. The landscape dies were used for the hills. I used a total of 4 different die sets for this card.
