Merry And Bright_Poppystamsp NEW Release!

Merry & Bright
Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog Blitz! New Releases are so much FUN! I decided to make a Christmas Card using glitter washi tape and the ornament die. This would be a great card to mass produce for Christmas cards. I took the glitter washi tape and placed it on cardstock , then ran the die on it through my bigshot machine.

I also added a glitter strip of washi behind the new border sentiment die. You could wartercolor behind it or even make it into a little shaker card border!

Falling For You-Poppystamps

Welcome Paper Crafter's to the Poppystamps Blog Blitz for our NEW Release! I have a fall card for you! I used the Exquisite Branch Frame Die. I cut it out of white paper, then I water-colored the leaves and branches. The Falling For you stamps and dies were used on watercolor paper and then water-colored using ranger distress inks. Fall side
I have found stamping the Squirrel then die cutting works best for me, you can do it either way. The sentiment I embossed in gold on the cut out ribbon. Then I added a leaf brad to ty it into the theme of my card.

Be sure and comment on my post and the other Design Team Member's before me for a chance to win the designated die for each post! One of the lucky commenters will win the Exquisite Branch Frame Die!

Hoping..... Poppystamps

Feathers poppy
Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog! I am happy to share my Feathered card for you today! To create the gorgeous colored die cut feathers I started with my favorite distress inks. I used two different techniques. One where I wet the feather and added color by painting with a paint brush like watercolor. The second way is to ink your craft mat spritz water and dab or tap your die cut feather into the color. (that is how I achieved the dotted look on the medium sized feather.  After adding the color I dipped my feathers in Versamark ink pad and then added a poly-sparkle embossing powder and heated it. This gives the feather a glitter look and added stability.
I also did another one where I did a revers smooching technique( I hope to show a tutorial on this one soon)on my card base then I added golden feathers around my sentiment. It is a good way to showcase a sentiment and use the die cuts as accessories.

Which Key to My Heart? Poppystamps

Poppy keys
For today's card I created the background using grey ink and a memory box stencil for a distressed look. I really love the keys die and wanted to showcase all of them on the line.

I chose to mount the heart on foam squares and let the keys dangle for movement in the card. The word love was cut with the open studio love die. This card would work for many occasions, Anniversary, Valentine's Day, Wedding.

BOO! Poppystamps Design

Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog! It's Lezlye here with a early start on a Halloween Card!
I first created my background using Distress inks a round applicator and water color paper.
I used glimmer mist after the inking and a spritz of water to make it shimmer and glitter. I cut the circle for a moon and the landscaped stitched die for the silver glittered ground.
One last close up of my ghosts. I added bling to the babies eyes. I used a total of 5 dies on this card all Poppystamps except the Open Studio by Memory Box circle. I hope you enjoyed this card, it was really fun to make, I had purple fingers when I was all finished!
