MFT Penquins!

Just a quick Card post before I head off to my second job!

Using a Memory Box Co stencil,  I created the sunny background for my happy little penguins! The stamps are from My Favorite Things! I am addicted to their stamps and dies! The sentiment is also from them. The stitched landscape dies are from Poppystamps.

cupcakes Anyone? Poppystamps

Welcome to the Blog Blitz for the New Release from Poppystamps. Lezlye, here with a pretty pink Cupcake card. Everyone loves cupcakes right?

I love to make my own backgrounds using Memory Box Stencils and ink! Using a sponge I smooched the ink through the stencil, then turn the stencil and repeat with and additional color.

For the Sentiment I dipped it in versamark then clear embossing powder and heated it then it looks like wet frosting!

Poppystamps Christmas in July.

Our new release blog blitz begins is in Full Swing!   That means that in addition to seeing all the newest designs from Poppystamps, you're also going to get a chance to win on every single post from now through July 26!
I used the added touch of an embossing folder for texture. The Holly berries were cut out of glitter paper that I found at my local Micheal's store. I  also whipped up a very quick tag using the same dies.

There will be a prize on every post during out blog blitz (July 13-26).   All you need to do to enter to win is leave a comment!   One comment will be selected from each post using a random number generator.   You don't have to leave a comment on all the posts - just the ones you want to enter.   You have until July 29 to leave a comment - and all the winners will be posted here on  July 31.
OK.. interested?  The prize for today's post is a set of the Stitched Holly Border.  Here's what you need to do to enter to win.  Just leave me comment!  It doesn't get easier than that!!
I hope you'll come back and see what's new for another chance to win!  The blog will be updated regularly and you're sure to love what you see!  Good Luck!

Time to Celebrate Poppystamps

Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog! I hope you all had a Fabulous Fourth of July here in America!

Poppystamps front fireworks

For my card I used Our American Holiday for inspiration! With Cities all across America having Fabulous displays of Fireworks I decided to think outside the box with some Poppy Dies! I used the Mum Flower die as Fireworks!! I created my custom water colored background using the stencil and embossing powder that I demonstrated last month. I created my Row of houses and embossed a sentiment. Glossy accents were added to the windows of the houses where I just backed the die with yellow cardstock.

You Brighten My Day!

Hello My Dear Followers! Today I share a card that I love! Hope you all had a great Fourth of July Holiday for those of you that are in the USA!

This card uses Rubber Cling mounted stamps by Rubbernecker. I saw this bike and just adored it. I would love to have one for my beach house that I'll have someday! I water-colored this using the new Kuratake Pens! I am still getting used to them. I apologize for my erratic posting and so late. I have been working two jobs! I am headed to bed now and will work and 8 hours at my first job and then another 5 hours at my second job. I am wondering how long I can keep two jobs up?

Have a great Day!
